Bellamy’s Organic Step 1 Infant Formula is suitable for most babies from birth through to 12 months.  It’s made from certified organic cows milk, blended with essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals so you can be sure you are offering your baby the best nutrition in accordance with world-class Australian Food guidelines and standards.

Our Infant Formula is whey dominant which means that it is easy for babies to digest and perfectly balanced to provide your baby’s nutritional needs.

If your baby is older than 6 months you may also like to consider our Step 2 Follow On Formula. 

All our formula tins will provide you with the necessary measuring scoop and preparation instructions, along with a feeding table to guide you on how much your baby will need each day.  Do not make the formula stronger or weaker than the mixing instructions indicate.

Ingredients

Organic demineralised whey powder, organic vegetable oils (organic palm oil, organic soybean oil, organic sunflower oil), organic milk solids, organic lactose, whey protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate. Total certified organic ingredient = 97% MINERALS: Potassium chloride, calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, magnesium sulphate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite. VITAMINS: Sodium ascorbate, niacinamide, vitamin E, vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3, calcium pantothenate, vitamin C, thiamine hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, vitamin K1, d-biotin, vitamin B12

Transition

While most babies and toddlers would be expected to experience a smooth transition between the old and new formulations, it’s important to remember that every child reacts differently when changing formulas. Because of the addition of new ingredients to our formula, your baby or toddler may initially experience some digestive changes. Whilst this is completely normal when transitioning to a new food or formula, we recommend that you transition slowly from one formula to the other at around 75% original formula with the addition of 25% new formula and increase the new formula over the course of 1-2 weeks. For a bottle using 4 scoops of formula, this would equate to 3 scoops of original formula and 1 scoop of the new formula. Always ensure that both formulas have the same scoop to water ratio.
